Have you ever heard of car sharing in cities around the country?  There is a web site call carsharing.net.  This site does not own or operate car sharing services anywhere but gives you information on it and how you would go about getting it in your city if it is not there already. 

This sounds like a great idea.  Madison is on a list that shows Community Car and U Car Share.  I am gathering that this is not a car pooling but actually sharing a car.  I think it could work for the right people.  I probably use my car a couple hours a week unless I leave town on the weekend and that’s not very often.  How smart would this idea be for me.  I am currently checking into it.  Granted you have to be sharing with someone in the vicinity but I think that’s what the car sharing site is all about so you can get all that information out there. ]
