It is not too early to start talking about and planning for the Wisconsin Film Festival in Madison, Wisconsin, in April this year.  It runs from Thursday, April 15 through April 18, 2010.

This is the 12th year.  The festival plays in 8 theaters all in downtown Madison within walking distance of each other.
